Year One Requirements — Taught Modules
Year One comprises two consecutive academic semesters covering all prescribed modules, totalling 26 credit hours. Successful completion of this phase is the essential prerequisite for progression to the thesis stage.
Completion of All Prescribed Modules
Passing all modules in Semesters One and Two

Research Phase — Master's Thesis
Year Two is devoted entirely to the research phase. Students prepare an applied technical Master's thesis worth 10 credit hours, with regular progress monitored through seminars and a mandatory plagiarism check.

Completion of the Thesis 10 Credits

Preparation of an accredited applied technical Master's thesis worth 10 credit hours, bringing the total programme credits to 36. The thesis must address a real-world administrative or technical challenge through rigorous academic inquiry.

Periodic Progress Seminars Seminars

The student delivers regular progress presentations before the departmental academic committee to track research completion milestones and scholarly advancement. These seminars are held at scheduled intervals throughout the thesis preparation period.

Plagiarism Check Plagiarism Check

The thesis must pass an electronic plagiarism screening with a similarity percentage that does not exceed the threshold prescribed by the Ministry, ensuring the scientific integrity and academic honesty of the research.

Scientific Publication Requirement
As a graduation requirement, the student must publish at least one research paper derived from the thesis topic in a peer-reviewed academic journal recognised by the University or indexed in international databases.

At least one scientific paper derived from the Master's thesis topic must be published Alternatively, a formal letter of acceptance from the journal prior to the viva voce is acceptable
Publication must be in a peer-reviewed academic journal recognised by the Northern Technical University Or indexed in internationally recognised databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.)
Scientific publication demonstrates the student's research credibility and constitutes a genuine contribution to the field of business management
Important Note
A formal letter of acceptance from the journal may be accepted as a temporary substitute at the point of thesis submission for examination, provided that actual publication is completed thereafter.
Scientific Assessment & Public Viva Voce
The thesis undergoes two sequential stages: scientific and linguistic evaluation by specialist examiners, followed by a public viva voce before an academic examination committee formally constituted by university order.

Scientific Review Scientific Review

The thesis is submitted to specialist examiners in the field of research for a rigorous assessment of its scientific validity, research methodology, originality of findings, and contribution to knowledge.

Linguistic Review Language Review

The thesis is reviewed by a language specialist to verify the correctness of academic style, linguistic accuracy, and clarity of expression prior to the formal examination.

Public Viva Voce Defense

The student defends the thesis before a specialist academic examination committee formally constituted by university order. To graduate, the student must receive an acceptance decision with a grade of no less than Good.

The student must receive a grade of no less than Good from the academic examination committee formally constituted by official university order.
Administrative & Final Requirements
