Registration and admission unit
The Division works to distribute newly accepted students by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Central Admission to our college departments for each new academic year and admission.
The top 5% in vocational preparatory schools, as well as the top 10% in technical institutes, follow up on objection transactions, modify the nomination, transfer, and hosting, and the admission plan for scientific departments, as well as follow up on transfer, hosting, and modify the nomination for students who are within the period specified by the Ministry in each academic year and for the morning and evening studies, as well as the transfer of top students. The college must transfer to colleges with higher requirements, and in coordination with the university (Northern Technical University), follow up on university communications and implement orders regarding the return of students whose registrations have been redacted, supplementary round exams, transit, and taking exams. Follow up on the special cases of some students between the college and the university, follow up on the admission of holders of equivalent certificates, and transfer from outside the country. Iraq, accepting the families of the martyrs, exempting them from tuition fees for evening studies, accepting distinguished employees and academically certified teachers, auditing the records referred by the College Council secretariat, and developing appropriate solutions for all student affairs issues in accordance with the applicable examination regulations.
Registration mechanism for students accepted into the college
1- Documents required for registration:
The original preparatory school document certified by the General Directorate of Education in the governorate.
A guarantor bond according to a form prepared by the College’s Legal Affairs Division.
A colored copy of the citizenship certificate, Iraqi civil status identity card, or unified national card.

2-Student registration mechanism:
The central admission results announced on the official website of the Ministry are based on the announcement, and the announcement is an official notification to the college to begin registering students.
The student is registered if he also submits an objection to his acceptance, and if he is right, his candidacy will be modified.
Non-Iraqi resident and accepted students are registered for morning and evening studies, taking into account what is stated in Clause (F-3) of Chapter Six of the Student Affairs and Registration Procedures Manual.
3- Cases of postponement, failure, and cancellation of admission:
The academic year is considered a year of postponement for the student if he registers in the college after the end of the specified period, until 4/18/2024.
The academic year is considered a failing year for the student if he registers after April 18, 2024 until May 23, 2024.
4- Cases of cancellation of admission:
If the student does not register in the college to which he is nominated during the same academic year until 5/26/2024.
In the event that it is proven that any of the general or special conditions for admission to the study are not met.
If the student submits incorrect, forged, or distorted information or documents to the college, he writes to the university to cancel his admission.
If the student does not submit the original preparatory study document certified by the General Directorate of Education in the governorate until 4/18/2024.
Issuing orders for students whose admission has been canceled as soon as they are eligible.
5- Direct admission controls and conditions:
Iraqi nationality.
The student must be born in 1999 onwards.
Possessor of an Iraqi preparatory school certificate, supported by certification from the General Directorate of Education in the governorate, or an equivalent certificate.
Successful in the medical examination according to the conditions specific to each study.
“Dedicated” to study, and it is not permissible to combine work and study (at the same time) in colleges and morning institutes. This includes employees of all government institutions, and in order for them to continue studying, they must obtain study leave from their departments “in accordance with the instructions in force.” It is also not permissible to combine the two studies.” If it is proven otherwise, he writes to the Ministry to cancel his acceptance.
It is allowed to apply for graduates of preparatory studies in the branches (biology, applied sciences) for the current academic year 2022/2023 and the previous academic year who have not received central admission, according to the controls listed for each specialization, provided that they do not enroll in studies (evening, private, morning private government education, one of the colleges affiliated with the two endowments, and institutes). affiliated with other ministries).
Graduates of preparatory school are allowed to apply for the (vocational) branches for the current academic year 2022/2023 and for the previous academic year (after submitting proof that they were deferred or failed with the approval of the college/or institute) and for each specialization, as indicated in the items below, on the condition that they do not enroll in study (evening, eligibility, and accepted) Within the Sabahiya private government education channel, one of the colleges affiliated with the two endowments, and the institutes affiliated with other ministries.
