Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Danouk, Dean of the College.
The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Hawija Technical College, in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division and female students of the scientific departments, organized a campaign to distribute awareness posters entitled (Hand in Hand to Fight Breast Cancer) within Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The posters distributed by Mrs. Wasan Abdul Rahman Ali showed how to detect breast cancer, what are the methods of prevention and treatment, and how a woman afflicted with this disease overcomes it with patience, hope, and faith in God Almighty.
The campaign aimed to increase awareness about the dangers of breast cancer and distribute awareness leaflets in order to educate women about the importance of this disease and overcoming it with patience, bravery and faith, resisting it and defeating it.
The campaign recommended
-This disease is a test from the Lord of the Worlds. To see the patience of the afflicted person, one must be patient and have faith
-The affected woman must be aware of the dates of breast cancer screening campaigns on a regular basis
-Resistance by being patient in order to heal and return to normal life
-Life needs some hope in order for the person suffering from this disease to overcome his illness because he needs a lot of hope in God Almighty and his ability.
-Seeking treatment early in order to get rid of it.
