Launching the application form for central admission
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the electronic application form for central admission to public universities for the public and martyrs’ families for the academic year 2024/2025.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set the conditions and controls for central admission that the student be a graduate of the current year and born in 2000 and later.
Graduates of preparatory studies from the scientific, biological and applied branches are required to fill out (50) choices, and the number of institutes in them is not less than ten, while graduates of the literary branch are required to fill out no less than (25) choices, and the number of institutes in them is not less than ten, while graduates of the arts branch have been specified (10) choices, and the number of institutes in them is not less than two options.
The Department of Studies indicates that applicants from martyrs’ families are required to review the Martyrs Foundation and its affiliated directorates to verify their data.
Students who graduated from the first round and are included in the second round will continue to submit the central admission form through the electronic portal of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up (www.dirasat-gate.org) until Thursday, September 19, 2024.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research calls on students to review their choices and use the Student Guide (https://mohesr.gov.iq/…/img/uploaded_files/Dalel_24_25.pdf) to know the details related to the universities, colleges, their departments and institutes to which they will apply and confirms that central admission is based on the choices stated in the application form based on the student’s desire and competition in the total.
We draw the attention of students to the fact that the electronic application form for accepting the first graduates of vocational studies for the academic year 2025/2024 will be opened later according to the corresponding and close specialization.
