About the College
Al-Hawija Technical College is one of the formations of the Northern Technical University affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It was established in 2023 and is an educational institution that provides professional technical studies programs that aim to develop students’ skills and abilities in various practical fields. This college is located in Al-Hawija District and provides specialized curricula that include three main departments: Business Administration Technologies, Financial and Banking Technologies, and Mechatronics Engineering Technologies.
Study in Iraq Initiative
“Study in Iraq” is an initiative launched by the Northern Technical University with the aim of promoting e-learning and providing integrated educational opportunities for students inside and outside Iraq. The platform seeks to provide multiple study programs with international specifications online to facilitate access to higher education. The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched the “Study in Iraq” initiative for the academic year 2024-2025, with the aim of attracting international students to study at Iraqi universities. This initiative offers various scholarships (fully funded, partially funded, and self-funded) including housing and health insurance for international students admitted to various specializations and academic levels.
