The symposium, which was organized in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, was attended by a number of school students, Assistant Professor Raed Wadallah Dawoud, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, lectured and Mrs. Wasan Abdul Rahman Ali and Mr. Awad Hussein Abdul
The symposium discussed the causes affecting moral chaos and the impact of family disintegration on young people, how the moderate approach in Islam dealt with extremist ideas, and how our honorable Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, set an ideal for us in mercy, affection, gentleness, and rejecting extremism and fanaticism and reforming the soul and self.
The symposium recommended emphasizing the role of awareness that begins with the family, activating its role in guiding their children and monitoring their behavior in accordance with community values, and increasing awareness seminars to confront extremist thought to achieve intellectual security for our student children and enhance the methodology of preventing extremist violence.
