The symposium, which was organized in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, was attended by a number of school students and lectured by Assistant Professor rayid waed allah dawud, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, students, Mrs. Wasan Abdul Rahman Ali, and Mr. Awad Hussein Abd. Types and forms of drugs What can be circulated, the extent of its danger, the damage caused by drugs in terms of health, psychological, social and economic terms, and how it targets different age groups, especially school and university students.
The symposium aimed to reduce the widespread spread of the drug phenomenon among young people in our society and raise awareness of its dangers and the health, psychological, social and economic damage it causes.
The symposium recommended emphasizing the role of awareness that begins with the family and activating its role in guiding their children and monitoring their behavior in accordance with society’s values to prevent their addiction.
Eliminating the phenomenon of addiction, in addition to ways to prevent it
Increase awareness within schools and universities and follow up periodically and continuously.
