Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Danouk, Dean of al Hawija Technical College, chaired the second open session, in the presence of all members.
The session was opened by welcoming the Council members, after which the issues on the agenda were presented, which were summarized as follows:
* Directives of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
* The directives of the university presidency and the most important matters raised in the university council.
* Forming committees to register and receive students and hold an introductory seminar on the registration mechanism for committee members.
*Emphasizing students’ commitment to uniforms.
* Discussing a number of student, administrative and scientific matters.
* Emphasis on adherence to the official working hours for both studies (morning and evening).
* Urging faculty members to publish research within reliable international sources (Scopes).
